    Default Router Lifts inserts

Sawstop is about to land some of the cast iron tables that bolt directly to the Sawstop saw. However they are not going to import a router or router table top insert for the cast iron top.

So my question is to those that have done the rounds looking at the various options for router inserts for the tops…Ie Incra, Jessem etc etc. …Can you tell me what a good choice is and what router you chose to fit the router base you close.

    TIA

Hi Steve, I have one of the Jessem inserts in a homemade table that has done all I've needed. I drilled my own holes to fit the big Makita router that has it's own screw for raising and lowering from above the table. The Jessem was also about the cheapest option when I was shopping a couple of years ago.

Carbatec had all these listed on their website less than 2 weeks ago but they have since been removed. Im certain I read that the Carbatec router plate/lift would fit in the extension wing. The Carbatec, Sherwood, Kreg, Jessem etc all use a fairly generic US standard size from memory.

This is taken from a google search but clicking the link results in a page not found error.

The Australian Wood Review email a couple of days ago had an article about these tables being available but when I searched Carbatec web-site there was no mention at all.
I have a Sawstop contractor saw and would be interested if I can fit my Hitachi TR12 in it.
