Default Need router to modify windows

I asked for few bits of timber to add to my windows and I was quoted something like $500 for the job which will only be a temp band aid.
So I am on the quest for a router and table that can cut long very thin grooves 2.5mm and 6mm depth in two metres lengths in thin dressed timber to work on window sash and rail bits,, edge forming, and rebating.

What type of router and brand table should do the above say that I intend to keep this as personal hobby for the next twelve months.

    Thank you

Far easier, cheaper and stronger to get thin peices of wood and laminate them to create the form you need. That way all you need is glue, clamps and strips of wood. I make picture frames that way, they dont warp like a single piece of wood.
Cutting a slot my preference would be a saw bench, with a router it can go wrong very quickly

thanks for the suggestion but I need 40 metres in total with different sizes and profiles of this plus extending the windows will also require to make rebates of 10x 12mm 90degrees angle.
    Not sure what to do.
