    Hello, thanks for all your ideas and advice, it helped me have the confidence to go ahead with a lazy susan turntable. I basically used Ian's process.

    For the edge profile, I ended up using a Roman Ogee bit with a 1/4" radius. The fence on my old Hitachi TR-12 router didn't need dowels fitted to it - it was designed to follow the circular table very nicely, and had a lovely screw-in incremental adjustment. I attacked the edge from the side each time, in 3mm steps - went well.

    That made it much easier 'Changing the Cutter' Just think of that breakout if you had used the original cutter proposed at the start.
