Default Ryobi 1600- table mounting ?

I PURCHASED A ryobi router rrt 1600 from bunnings
To my surprise despite being told that it can be mounted under a router table. I find that the unit powers on only when its connected the buttons are continuously pushed. Unsuitable for mounting under a table i think
Sounds like i should return it and get another one that can be powered on all the time

You can make anything work if you try hard enough.

Yes as samo did, just lock the switch on with a cable tie and either turn it on & off at the powerpoint or buy an auxiliary switch to mount on your table.
