Re: James and Sawandbits.
- I placed an order on Tuesday afternoon and a further order on Tuesday evening.
- I paid when I received an email asking to do so.
- My orders were consolidated by James, at my request, to minimise freight and packing.
- I paid on Thursday and the order arrived Friday afternoon in Melb. The carton was sufficiently well packed that all items were in very good condition on receipt.
- All items were accounted for except for 1 router bit; I received a different one instead. However, as I had a large order and the bit was very close to the one I wanted I did not follow-up (if you want me too James let me know).
- The quality of the bits I would rate as the same as Carbi-tool, good usable bits. Out of 10 I'd give them a 6-7. Are they worth the $5.50? You better believe it.
- I also received saw blades, reciprocating saw blades and jigsaw blades, all good quality. Note that you cannot sharpen a blade for $5.50, at least nowhere I have found.
This is a fantastic offer for hobbyist woodworkers and, based on my experience with my order, I'd recommend it without hesitation.
Thanks James.

Hi Johnny v
i am afaid to say yes if i have not moved enough stock to keep the Head office happy and bought my stock level down to below 1 mil it will be dumped, the more i get out the door the better. If there is still product left and my figures are o.k then i can keep selling till sold out, as time is running out i still have quite a large amount left.
I only have 1 more trick up my sleeve and then thats it
the shop will be closed for 4 weeks over xmas as i will not have the opotunity to fulfill any orders until next year starting from around the 13th december as i have to pull in all payments before the 19th or you won`t see it till next year.
If all goes well then i might reopen next year to clear out some of our old carbitool stock and other various items that we have had laying around for years
it`s all up to management what they want me to do as it would be nice to get my life back to some normality.
Cheers all
James

If it all gets too much, load it in a truck and I will look after it for you
Ordered twice and more than happy. I don't think the wife would let me go for a third. My brother is now going to have a look.

One thing stood out above all else, and that was the way that James conducts his business - with integrity. There are still a few people in this world that put into it, I know them well - I married one. Such people stand out.

I have complete confidence in Saw & Bits. His ability to keep you informed of the status of your order puts 95% of all companies in Oz to shame.
Unfortunately, I do not know the other 5% to give them praise.
I have even had a reply to a question I sent him on a Friday and he answered me on Saturday. My question was a bank problem, not his, but he kept me informed, and the bank payment eventually came through. The NAB have a strange system that if a payment is made after a certain cut off point it is held over from processing for a while even though the money is taken immediately from your account.
I think it is a part of their security, but they benefit with your money while both ends of the transaction have to wait.
I have ordered many times from James and have complete confidence. He has just previously said that he is extremely busy at the moment, we all get that way, The quality is exceptional compared to what i usually buy.
The reciprocating saw blades are fantastic. I had plenty of work to do on some farm wooden fences and the blades I used were a disaster, I tried the Stehle ones, both the wood ones and the metal cutting. The metal ones were better then a top quality hacksaw blade and made cutting off 6mm coach screws very easy, When I had to use a grinder to get rid of nails, now I can use my cordless recriprocating saw to clean up second hand 4x2 for fence rails.
Obviously some people have a problem.

Star I haven't a problem with James or saw an bits. I am very pleased with my deallings with him and yes he is very good to deal with. Like I said in my first post I am not far of having every router bit on his site.
But I would like an honest answer when I ask an honest question.....
Why are they so cheap and for how long will he continue to sell them at this price for?

my answer
Hey guys
theres no secrets to be kept here it looks like there where questions and i`d like to answer then
first of all i`m not here to try and confuse anyone or rip people off just an honest worker
i am a full time purchasing officer and national stock controler for a major high end precision tooling company.........this is my full time job from 5.30am till 6pm we bough in these tools to try and break into the australian market place but it turned out to be too difficult as the market place was pretty much all sewn up but we have already bought in half a mil in stock which has been sitting on the shelf for far too long only moving in very small amounts for the past 4 years we have been paying tax on product that it not selling its like a car with insurance every year your profit/losses depreciates until it is classified as dead stock
head office in Germany have told us that we are over stocked by way too much and we need to reduce my levels to below 1 mil the only way i can do this is too sell the product at a super cheap rate to get it out the door
are we making a profit ............No !!
am i loosing money............hell yes but it`s better to loose some than everything and cut our losses at least this way we move the product through the books......all above board................each time i sell lets say $100 worth of stock at my price it reduces out stock holding by around $500 so the more i sell the quicker my stock Value will reduce
yes 12 months ago i started on ebay as i had sold alot of my computer parts and gave it a go to see if we could move it abit quicker
this ended as i was loosing even more with fees ETC not so viable plus the fact that i travel from state to state it also became harder to deal
we are now under exstreme pressure from Germany to reduce this stock so here i am again 12 months down the track............trying to give you all a bargain
and do what i get paid to do.............stock control
No there is no reason for me to steal product and sell it as i`m sure i would be caught by now
The only reason we set up the web site as being from a company you would need to open an account which i`m sure you don`t want to do and then if you make a mistake or i make a mistake you then have to do credits and re-invoices
This site is a no credit no refund your order pay and recieve
Now Yes i am more than happy to help you solve an issue and may refund or give away at my discretion only
I have full controll of what i do and don`t with the stock
yes i said that prices would rise hoping that the person that recieved the incorrect parcel would just say hey i got goods i didn`t order but unfortunately this did not happen.............my problem i have to answer for the missing stock prices may still go down if i feel it is nessacery to acheive my goal
once stock is gone it`s gone for good
there will be no more next year or we might bring it back later this is a once in a lifetime bargain that you have and that is it
if you think it`s too good to be true no it`s not it`s business and this is the way i decieded to conduct it to give people a fair dinkum oppotunity
i`m not telling anyone to buy it you either like it or you don`t so please don`t let others opinions hold you down
i did make a realstatement about a customer and i just wanted him to know that i realy don`t care if he gets on andbags me i`m not here to run a full time business i average around 4 hours sleep a night since i started this site due to the high demand for product and would love to see my wife and kids again sometime soon........hahaha
yes i`m flat out running work and the site but don`t be discouraged at all you will recieve your parcel i may be alittle slow at updating my site but i`m trying as hard as i can to keep both party`s happy
hope that has answered your questions as best as possible without writing a six page novel.................oppppppppps too late by the looks
Best regards to all
and thank you for your honesty regarding the site and product it makes it all the more worth while doing
