Trim router angle plate
Has anyone made their own angle plate for a trim router? I have seen a couple but they seem to be quite big and bulky, has anyone made one that’s slim line if so is there any chance you could pop a photo on here to how me.
Outside of that I will be trying make my own out of Aluminium angle iron and making a scissor type hinge to connect to the current base.
pics will be posted in progress, success or disaster but any other pics people may have to give me some ideas would be most helpful.
thank you

What kind of trimmer router do you have? I have an angle base for my Chinese Makita copy that also fits the Ryobi (and presumably the practically identical Ozito). I’ll dig it out later and send you photos if you’d like.
Here is the review I wrote of the trimmer including the angle base.Last edited by Chief Tiff; 4th September 2020 at 11:59 AM. Reason: Found my review of the trimmer

Here are some pics. If you build one you need to ensure the router can drop in as deep as possible.
