Triton 3/8 collet
Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen
I have just bought a auction box of router bits and included are some 3/8 compression spiral bits and a few 6mm bits.
my question is do Triton do a 3/8 and 6mm collet for them MOF001 and if so where in good gods earth can I get hold of them.
many thanks in advance
Trent

They make a 6mm, 8mm and 12mm collet; the part numbers are TRC006, TRC008 and TRC012 respectively. They are expensive though as they have to come from the UK.
What you can also do is purchase 1/2” to 3/8” and 6mm adaptors that will allow you to use your job lot of router bits.Nothing succeeds like a budgie without a beak.

As I posted earlier the Triton 6mm collet is available from the UK only. If you contact one of the retailers directly (like Yandles or FFX) they will probably pop one in the post to you. Retail price for the 6mm collet is only 18 squid which translates as $32; even if postage doubles that it’s still considerably cheaper than the $80 asking price on Fleabay.
If you go down the reducer route these are generally cheaper but try to stick to reputable brands like Whiteside or Amana; Amazon lists both of those brands.Nothing succeeds like a budgie without a beak.
