    Default Triton Router Raising Handle

I have a set of plans for the New Yankee Workshop router table, embarrassingly, I have had them for about 3 years , anywho, it is time to actually start getting the bits and pieces together for this build.

I have a couple of Makita routers already but I was interested in the new Triton router because it has had some great comments, is a dual speed, locking collar and a handle for raising and lowering.

My question is, is the raising and lowering mechanism on the Triton router any good? Or Am I better off with a separate accessory lift plate setup?

Stick with the Triton router. It's THE best under table machine out there. Consequently with its built in above table bit changing ability, you will never need to waste money on a separate lift device. I have the original Tra001 that didn't come with a winding handle. You'll be more than happy with a new Triton. Whoever is supposed to own/or make them these days, I still see them as being Australian, so it's the one I support. Bob
