Some time ago made up simple table for my Makita clone trimmer/router for a small project with a swivel fence and held down with clamps.

The biggest problem with this setup is the difficulty getting the height adjustment right which is a pain.

In the mean time I got into 3d printing and found a router lifter design and printed that up and after a lot of post print work got it together satisfactorily with one turn equals 2mm of lift.

One thing led to another so I made up a sliding fence with adjustable faces and designed and printed a dust port.

Next I added a T Track and designed a stop block. I was looking at buying some acrylic, $12, to make a bit guard but I had a light bulb moment when I saw an acrylic clip board at the doctors and picked one up for $3 locally. A bit of experimentation with the heat gun and it was done.

I drilled holes in either of the for a T track clamp to secure it to the workmate and when not in use (most of the time) it fits into a drawer.

I probably got a bit carried away with it all but sometimes I think I do things for the challenge and it keeps me off the streets.
