Variable speed switch
Gday all! I have a Hitachi T12 router which I am going to fit to my new router table. This machine does not have variable speed. Does anyone know of a reasonably priced 240v switch on the market? Firms in the US have them on the market(Harbour Freight) but they are 120v.
Thanks
Milosam

Build it yourself speed controller kit
Cat No KC5478 from jaycar would work.
I have no idea how complicated it is, or what tools are required, or how much it costs. Good luck.

Milosam,
That kit is not overly complicated. The instructions are quite good but a basic in electronics is handy.
Just remember this circuit is playing directly with 240 volts. When check or adjusting anything disconnect it from the mains.
I have built that kit and others and it is about the best one so far. I use it for a 3612 makita.
