    Default Woodpecker template

I've just bought a Woodpecker router plate...but I stupidly didn't buy the MDF template to route the hole in the table top. Does anyone have one they are willing to part with (happy to pay for it).
The Australian supplier won't have them in stock for weeks, and to buy one in the US would mean another 60 bucks in postage...

    You shouldn't need a template.
Here are some instructions on how to do it:

    Thanks for that.
While it's not directly applicable to the router plate I have (Woodhaven), the more information I have on correctly installing a plate, the better.

If you want to have another take on how to install a router plate have a look at my (oldish) thread on my WIP on a router table for Incra LS (see my signature).

Thanks very much for this- worked fine. My only change was to use the hole saw to cut the holes a little in from the corners, so I could finish sand with a drum sander in the drill press. The hole saw leaves a rough edge.
Next time I'll just save myself the trouble and spend an extra 14 bucks on the template..
