I am going very well for an old fart and about to start a new business venture that will make your system even better but I can't elaborate too much on that at the moment. I guarantee you are going to love it when you finally see what it can do.

Awww ... Chris ... now you've got me hopping from one foot to the other like an excited kid.

When can I expect to be enlightened about this venture?

Later this year if all goes well but more likely early next year, we have been working on it for about 18 months and we now have to tie up the loose ends for marketing etc. I bet money you buy one!

You, Chris, are a proper bastard for getting me all excited and then telling me I must wait months to even discover what it is you'll be selling.

I expect a discount for all the pain and suffering that will occur in the coming months!

Teasing you a bit more John. I know a little something about it but I'm not telling.

I knew a Palestinian once that always said "B" instead of "P". Always called me a brick. Once a brick always a brick.

A bloke I knew years ago, not a friend, was universally known as "Rick with the silent P"

Darned if I know why an apology was thought necessary.

    Have fun, Pete.

Last week I cleaned off windowsills and the tops of ductwork etc in a general shop cleanup. It has been three years since this job was last done.

There was dust on these surfaces, but an awful lot of it was grey household dust. In the bad old days I'd create more dust than that in one solid day in the shop.

Dust capture is never perfect, but it is pretty darned good now, thanks to Bill Pentz, BobL and Chris.

Good to hear John. BTW a substantial amount of grey household dust especially in rooms that are often occupied by people or animals is actually not the result of dust making but a reaction between the ammonia and water from human breath.

    Bugger!

One learns something new every day. Ammonia and water from human breath makes dust. Who'd have thought that to be the case?

I am modifying my thicknesser to 150mm and used the existing port and heated some PVC pipe to wrap around it. What is the best glue to use which will bond PVC and steel?
