2 x 1hp
I have 2 1 hp dust extractors, could i hook these up to one line to make it work better or would this just be a waste?

The limitations with these small dust extractors are
The small impeller size can't move more than ~600 CFM and that's without any hoses or machinery attached
4"/100mm ducting limits flow to ~350 CFM on a 1HP DC
Small filter bag reduces flow by about 20%
Final flow will be around 280 CFM
Running two in parallel then produces ~560 CFM but they must use completely independent ducting.
Also dust port locations need to be carefully selected or they will fight each other for air at the machine.
Would be OK for TS - one for blade guard and one for cabinet.
Running them in parallel on the same duct/line will limit flow by the duct size - if it's 4"/100mm the max flow will be around 420 CFM
Also they will fight each other for air as much as they will suck on dusty air so flow will be less than 400 CFM.
Putting them in series cannot move any more in theory than the capacity of either impeller - i.e. neither are not moving any faster
But 4"/100mm ducting will again limit flow to around 420 CFM
Small bag will reduce flow by ~29% so flow will be limited to 340 CFM.
Best option is to run them in parallel with independent lines.
This is a PITA to setup, ends up consuming 1500W and is still well below the recommended 1000 CFM
A modified 2HP with a pleated filter will consume the same power and draw around 900 CFM .
