    Default 45 degree takeoff position

Can the experts please tell me if a 45 degree takeoff 1' to11/2' from the intake of the Clearvue is OK. I know it is not recommended because of turbulence but would it mess things up too much?

    Thanks

I think you are saying you want to want to locate a 45º takeoff immediately adjacent to the intake of a Clearvue.

Yes it will add turbulence so it's better not to, but if you have no choice then you have no choice.

I can't say how much it would affect things, I won't be too much.

Give it a try as I am curious and the knowledge will help others. I doubt you will notice the difference but it is only a gut feeling.

Thanks for the reply Bob. Sorry Chris I have decided to leave the ducting as is and put a sharpening station where I was going to move the lathe to.
