Well that explains one thing - why my ducted system appears to have SO MUCH more suction then the 3.5 metre long length of flexy that I was using beforehand.
It seems that I should get rid of the existing flexy - i cant eliminate it altogether but i can greatly reduce it.Apologies for unnoticed autocomplete errors.
