Air Filtration System - Problem
I have a Jet AFS-1000B Air Filtration System. It is 8 years old and has only had light duty in a hobby woodworker type environment. In the last few months it has started to cut out after running for about 5-10 minutes. When I start it up again it only runs for a similar period of time before once again stopping.
It may have reached the end of its useful life or it may be a problem encountered by other woodworkers who may have these units in their workshops. Any feedback would be appreciated.

I suspect the bearings may have gone dry and it is over heating and cutting out. When it stops does the motor feel hot If so try a little spray lube on the bearings. If this keeps it going then a bearing repack with some grease should keep it running for another 8 years.
