BMH on motor cycle engine.
Spotted on a Ducati 750 motor cycle at recent national historic motorcycle racing meet.
Unfortunately this bike had come off the track and sucked up a whole heap of dirt.

Pretty normal on non filtered Atmospheric engines and has been as long as I have been involved in racing and modifying motors and that's a damned long time. I posted an article on here years ago from IIRC Race Car Engineering magazine explaining some of the physics.
