    I would be interested in your thoughts too. He didn't do any real testing in the video so hard to know what the difference to a CV would be.

    He might have got the direction of rotation wrong, it is normal to assume if it blows air then the DOR is correct but in fact it will blow air both ways but the correct way is far stronger. The other is a wrong handed fan to exhaust mismatch, CV used to supply either left or right exhaust now I think they do only left hand and if the impeller was mismatched I guess flow the air flow will suffer. I have never had experience with this as the right hand was dropped before I was selling them so it is a wild guess on my part.

    In the second video where he builds the fan....a test run at 17:54, you can see the housing orientation, blades orientation and direction of rotation just as it starts. Looks OK. Did he change something later?
