Sorry to take so long. Buggered my back lifting a tallboy into the trailer! Oh poo!
The best place I found here in Oz were Bison Filters. They had extremely decent prices and followup. The guy who helped me, Craig, was very patient dealing with my stupidity... here is his info: Leigh Craig | Bison Filters <[email protected]>
Bison Filters | Online Store - Cardboard Pleated Filters
I ended up with the 4 inch thick F7 filter for $78 delivered.
Here is a bit more info on my travels www.woodworkforums.com/f200/bastardising-air-cleaner-enclosure-ideas-227944
I also bought a box of six MERV8 filters from the USA via Amazon: Nordic Pure MERV 8 Pleated AC Furnace Air Filter, Box of 6, 20x24x1: Heating & Cooling: Amazon.com.au
These were (6 of them) $60 with free delivery, as I'm a Prime member. Bargain!
I've still four of the Amazon 1" filters left. I put two into the Dust Cleaner as the first two lines of defence, then the fine F7 (MERV13). The machine is amazing. Almost no loss of power and totally clean air.
.... I'll probably be selling all this in the near future. No room
