    I see. If 225mm is the ideal size for 150mm pipe, what is the deal size for 100mm pipe?

    edit: I worked it out its about 150mm

    Radius of 100mm duct is 50mm.
    Half radius is 25mm.
    100 + 25 on one side + 25 on other = 150 mm total

    at least that's water soluble so clean up would be better than oil.
    Thermally it would be similar to oil.
    It would make sense if there was a need to make dozens but for just a few it's quicker to use a hot air gun and a lathe.
