M class Gerni at Bunnings
Hi all,
I thought I would share my experience with the Gerni Attix 33M I use in my small shop for dust control. It is a re-branded Nilfisk....
I am a weekend hobbyist so was after something that would be quite compact, portable and certified to a standard. I am concerned about EH&S issues and have some experience with dust hazards in the workplace.
I started out looking for a minimum L class rating but when I came across this M class I thought it can also serve for projects where brick dust or concrete dust might be an issue.
This was the cheapest M class system I could find at $700. The other one I was looking at was the DeWalt at $811.
I am using this on my table saw, router and miter saw and it is working very well. It maintains suction pretty well as the bag fills although I have not been using it long enough to give a final view on this, so far so good. It is also very quiet compared to other shopvacs I have used.
I intend to run it through an extractor/separator to save on filter bag consumption when I get round to building one. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a quality wet/dry for woodworking in a small shop.
