    Guys and gals,

3 of us up here in NE Victoria are getting Error message no 6 on our CV cyclones. Any ideas?

Increase the deceleration time. F0.14. Error 6 is an overvoltage on deceleration.
Those were the droids I was looking for.

I am sorry I thought everyone had resolved this problem which only occurs on some VFDs at random. The solution is as suggested by NCArcher.

The solution is to alter parameter FO.14. Programming is explained in the booklet issued with the VFD or on my website under general information installation tips. If anyone is having a problem please message me with a phone nuimber so I can call you and talk you through the process.

Yep, I had this same problem. Easily fixed by following the instructions in the manual (and I'm hopeless with this electronics / electrical mumbo jumbo). The instructions look impenetrable but if you work through line by line it works.

This will help anyone with a Powtran VFD question, also it has other information the=at could prove helpful with understanding the whole VFD thing. Handy Information - Corrimal Community Men's Shed Inc.

    Thanks for that Chris.

This document only applies to the older cream coloured VFd controllers and not the current unit being supplied.
