Clearvue Oz Closing Shop
I am sad to say that due to personal circumstances Clearvue Oz (me) is shutting shop. I have a few odd things left including some minis, filters etc and will be having a clear out sale shortly.
I am doing this very reluctantly but my pending retirement from the workforce has forced my hand and my wife asked me if I really intended to retire or not after I give up full time work. If anyone is interested in picking up the distribution rights for Oz please let me know and I will arrange an introduction for you.
For all those who have bought cyclones, thank you. I will not leave you stranded and do not hesitate to ring me with any questions you may have. It has been an enjoyable journey and I have never regretted one minute of it.CHRIS

Sorry to see you retiring, Chris ... but I'm glad you hung around long enough to sell me a cyclone.

your retiremnt
Hi Chris,
I wish you well for your retirement. I hope you remain active on the forums, I have enjoyed your input both in open forum and in the odd PM. I have admired the way you have provided helpful information to everyone whether they were a customer or designing their own system or setting up your opposition's gear. You have proven yourself to be a true gentleman.
Hopefully someone will pick up the clearvue ball and run with it. If I ever upgrade from what I am currently rebuilding then the only way I could see me going is clearvue..
Good Luck Chris

Thanks for all the good wishes and compliments, it is much appreciated. My approach has always been to give customers what I would expect if I were doing the buying, most times it works and just occasionally there is a hiccup. things happen that we can't control or foresee. I am leaving the workforce later in the year but the time to leave CV was now due to lead times on orders and sales times which can be pretty slow at times and I did not want to have any product in stock by September. I am ever hopeful of someone picking it up as the product at the price point I had it at is unbeatable value and there is nothing in the market to match it.
When I started out I was told by well known personality in the woodworking retail sector I was doing it all wrong. He is most probably correct as he is a lot wealthier than me! His contention was I should import, jack the price up and just be a wholesaler to the retail end. Would anyone like to pay $3500 + for a cyclone? I am poor but happy that I ignored has advice and made it affordable for others. When I imported mine prior to being the Oz distributor I paid a lot more than I am retailing them for now so I reckon that they are a bargain.
We need someone to step up to the plate, let's see what happens.CHRIS

Hi Chris we spoke today and I assumed business as usual ..... I had no idea of your decision to close down the business. I am sorry to hear the bad news and can only say I now feel fortunate I purchased the CV1800 when I did and thanks for your after sales support and encouragement.
I believe there is definitely a market for he ClearVue product and I hope someone will take up the challenge!

A bit of an update, I sold the last cyclone yesterday, sad but true. Will someone please take on the distribution in this country as I feel guilty having to knock back sales, three in the last few days and I have one customer who has bought fourteen and will continue to buy. I am going to pull the website then hold a fire sale on the bits and pieces left here such as filters, mini CV06, etc.

Don't despair, I am sure that somehow it can be resolved.
