Default Combining a wye with a blast gate

In further simplifying the ducting to my combination machine and bandsaw, I made a couple of wyes that incorporate blast gates.

The main duct is 6" with subsequent 5 and 3" ducts. There was not much out in the retail world to accommodate my needs. I am sure there will be a few readers who will probably say that it could have been done differently, nevertheless, this is the best way I could think of and it was dirt cheap.

The wye at the machine allows me to disconnect the ducting to the overhead guard should it be neccesary. The wye at the dust extractor has a blast gate should I want to use the planer/thickness or bandsaw, obviously the 5 " duct needs to be connected to the required machine, this is not such a big deal as these machines are not used as frequently in my case.

Thanks Glenn, it may have been cheap, but it did take some time to do.

It all looks far too neat & tidy

Just wondering, why you didn't incorporate a cut off for the 4" inlet on the 'Y' connector, only the 2 1/2"?

It never occurred to me to do that, I guess I assumed that there would never be a circumstance where I would have to only use the over head guard, correct me if I am wrong. From the wye at the saw, the ducts are 76 mm (3") and 125 mm (5").
