    Default Cyclone extractors

    Hi guys,

An update on my previous post about cyclones. I have it on very good authority (ie I saw the mock up of the next catalogue) that Carbatec are bringing out the new type of cyclones (the ones that work) later in the year. They are a bit expensive though. The 2hp is $2000 and the 3hp is $3000 if my memory serves me correctly. Don't know how they compare to any of the seppo models though.

    Yowie.

PS just got my second Jap saw. Love them to pieces.

Can't see 'em selling any at those prices.
Is there anything easier done than said?

We just had cyclone Larry hit the coast - the first real one this year - I reckon that's about how many they will sell at that price - what could possibly justify that sort of pricing? Don't tell me they are gold plated - perhaps they will be painted in that "Triton tool orange" colour.

For that money you could order a clearvue cyclone from the states, have it delivered to an L.A. hotel, fly over and spend three days and bring it back as luggage. Same price.
