    Lappa,
that's a cool find. I don't know how you did that. Amazon is not letting me choose the other interesting parts to see price and shipping, some interesting looking hoods there...A point on the nomenclature, just to keep peace across the Pacific, planer=thicknesser, jointer=buzzer.

Yes QC, the thicknesser hood is similar to yours, or the one I did. Pretty generic and obvious. Aren't we boring...

    976522 for thicknesser

    Amazon.co.jp

Opening page is 976543 then top right has three pages you can select. 2nd page is the part numbers and 3rd page shows the diagrams.
Can you tell me how you found that, what your search method was? Would be appreciated. It may not be relevant, but under my Win10 the icons to choose drawing/drawings/part # are at the bottom of the Amazon page..

    Sorry for the late reply.

I just used Google and entered “ hitachi 976543”
First find on the list was the site I linked to.

When searching for parts for systems I always try and find a part number and include that in the search. I find most things I’m after that way but it doesn’t always work.
The part number 976522 did not yield any results but 976543 did
