that's a cool find. I don't know how you did that. Amazon is not letting me choose the other interesting parts to see price and shipping, some interesting looking hoods there...A point on the nomenclature, just to keep peace across the Pacific, planer=thicknesser, jointer=buzzer.
Yes QC, the thicknesser hood is similar to yours, or the one I did. Pretty generic and obvious. Aren't we boring...

I just used Google and entered “ hitachi 976543”
First find on the list was the site I linked to.
When searching for parts for systems I always try and find a part number and include that in the search. I find most things I’m after that way but it doesn’t always work.
The part number 976522 did not yield any results but 976543 did
