Dewalt DWV900l questions
Hello All
Please forgive my total noob questions. I'm really new to this stuff.
I have a Dewalt DWV900l dust extractor (looks like a shop vac)

It has a circular filter.

It also came with a bag

The filter is a must but are the bags? When I read the manual it stated that the bags cannot be used for wet items but it doesn't say if it has to be used for wood dust? I have had shop vacs before and not used a normal vacuum bag like this one has. I don't want to wreck it without using the bag but it sure looks like it would fill fast with saw dust hooked up to my table saw.

I've got the same setup, you can use it without the bag just the filter gets clogged up with dust and needs cleaning to maintain performance.

Thank you
That is what I've been doing but then I thought I would ask to be sure.
