    And this is exactly why I started this thread.
    Although I would probably learn a lot, the amount of time and frustration this would cause me leads me down the pre-constructed route.
    Never mind how i would even get a 4x10 sheet home.
    I might also inquire a few local laser cutting places here in Melbourne, but I suspect that idea would get pretty exy.

    I assume you have based that on the product weight of 8.5lbs.
    Not sure how much the packaging weighs - does it ship in a box?
    Round up the shipping weight to 10lbs and the cost is $72.
    Buy from overseas and they force you to add gst too. So I work it out as $462 which is still $87 cheaper than Timbecon.

    I should mention, quite clearly, that this isn't some one-off special I'm getting, but a regular price.

    I do log on, but Ive no special member discounts yet. They are upfront about it.

    It is purely a weight based service. NOT cubic rate.

    The 8.5 was as stated and 9 lbs is in the image.

    Ive used them several times, but not for a while, and its as easy as promised. No hitches, no gotchas.

    edit - I use 8.5lbs as this was the stated shipping weight I found from some basic searches. Some athers had "actual" weight which I arbitrarily deemed to be the cubic size/weight calc.
