    Default Drop saw dust collection

As it is my position to maintain machinery and keep everything running smoothly in our village mens shed. The Makita drop saw created heaps of saw dust,we had rough type of collection , but it only collected about 25% of the dust. After many Google searches I can up with this to catch 95% + of the dust.
A hood to allow full use , and a tapered chute to attach to the 100 mm dust extractor. A few photos give you an idea how it works.
The last photo is my idea of a stop on the cut off table . John.

Good job, and use of system collection. For my small shop I use my vacuum system which has a cyclon inline connected direct to dust bag connection point on saw. The vacuum system is controlled by a inline switch that operates in sync with the saw. It's very effective also.
