Default Dust commander dlx esd mkii

DUST COMMANDER DLX ESD MKII - Profi Zyklon Staubabsaugung / Filter / Abscheider | eBay

    Any love for these?

I'm looking at adding it to my shop vac/drum set up. Used for a cnc, blasting cabinet, orbital sander and general cleanup. Vacuum Drum.jpg

I was hoping to get one(cyclone) with 5/6 inch in/out ports and use reducers until I can upgrade to a proper dust extractor, my budget doesn't stretch to Clearvue etc.

    Cheers

Edit, just noticed Clearvue have CV-06 Mini...is it worth the extra over Dust Commander?

Just buy one of these - Cyclone Filter Powder Dust Collector For Vacuum Dust Extractor Separator AU | eBay - it's manufactured by the Chinese company that the Dust Commander Frenchman stole the design from.

Mount the cyclone centrally on your existing drum and use the existing pipework to connect direct to the cyclone, just make a cover for the unwanted hole. Performance-wise it'll leave your dust bucket design for dead.

    Agreed, aldav.

I've got one of these mounted on a 20 litre drum and it works like a bought one.

Ordered thanks, will cover the unwanted hole with acrylic, who doesn't love a peep hole!
