Used Dust Extractor
I am looking at maybe picking up a used dust extractor. It may be older than 10 years (but little use). Having never used one - other than motor, what else should I be careful about. My thought would be maybe bearing/s?

What Brand/Motor, filters, motor HP etc.
I would not even consider buying anything less than a 2HP DC as all the lower HP models do is redistribute dust around a shed.
Some models can also be more easily modified to generate a greater flow.

It is a 2 CT. Not much more I know until I see it.

It appears that it is a 2042 unit with a 510mm drum. I was intending to add PF but not found one yet and CT do not have one for it. So at this point I think I will forget that one.
I am looking at alternatives.
Currently have just TS and Router and will be building cupboards to mount them on so I can use 6" ducting. Currently I place items outside 6x6 Titan but in front of closed roller door trying to minimise dust. But going in and out of door means a lot goes in anyhow due to prevailing winds. I was thinking to get a DE and place in front of roller door with 6" PVC duct running under door but with rest of door space blocked with ply. Then using 3x4" ducts to either machine (1 to a collection box, 1 to blade/bit area and 1 free) with a run of say 3m. Ultimately I an airtight enclosure inside would be best but this would take up valuable real estate in the shed. If I did that, then runs would be larger.
To this end I was considering if the FM400 from Tibecon would be good alternative as it under $500. I know the price is climbing for me now - unfortunately.
