Any experience with this dusty?
Has anybody got or used one of these dust extractors?

I know it's not the great 2 or 3Hp unit with mega micron filtration unit but for my level of woodworking, I thought it might be worthwhile. I only have access to a double garage with two cars in it, so about a metre at the end with my workbench, a bandsaw and my lathe. I mainly want it for my lathe, bandsaw and to pick up any crap laying around after hand planing, etc. I don't have a planner or thicknesser or any of those high output machines.
Also, I'm renting and moving every 18months or so so I can't really install anything substantial. I thought that because the collection bag is housed inside the metal box, it would compensate for the lower level of filtration that the bag has.
Any thoughts?
Cheers
Paul

Unfortunately the door makes zero difference, the air has to escape somehow and will carry the fine dust with it. Have you got a window you can open opposite your garage door? If so I would open both and assist cross ventilation with some sort of fan to blow the fine dust out of the shed.

Looks like it would be a rectal pain to empty the dust bag.
My first DC was an underbench model and it was the pits. You need something that is easy to empty.
