Extracting dust from a Durden Sawbench
I have a Durden Pacemaker UP10, 10' combination saw and planer. There is a dust collection point on the front which I have connected a 4" hose to. The only problem is that it only collects shavings from the planer. The dust from the saw falls out a slot in the side of the machine (all over the floor and some is sucked back into the saw). Has anyone else come across this problem and what is the solution. There is very little room to make a collector of some sort......

Durden dust
Thanks China, that's what I have done. I was going to use the floor pickup attatchment from Carb e tek ($80) but found a small pickup with a hose attachment at a local tool store with an old price tag for $6.50 and made a shrowd which I screwed on and it works well.
