Default Finally, the Dusty has it's own shed!

I built my new shed some 3 years ago, got a 2Hp dusty a little while after. After a bit of use, one said to oneself, "self, you better get the flaming dusty out of this shed. The more dust it sucks, the more dust in the air." Especially after working on the little bench, I was convinced of my own stupidity of having the dusty inside were I was working. So just after winter I purchased a little domicile from the local hardware place. 1.5*.8*1.8. Just enough room for the dusty and a small separator.

Today, I finished plumbing it thru the walls and into the separator.

It sucks and it's alot quieter in the new shed. So hopefully with the dusty in it's new home and the Air Filter, there will be minimal dust being inhaled by myself.

In the first pic, you will notice the clamp around the sewer pipe, to contract the pipe to grip the true 100mm dia pipe. I also cut the slots in the other end of the sewer pipe to manipulate the pipe thru the 102mm opening. Brute Force and Rat Cunning does wonders for the size differences in pipes

It's not on par with a true cyclone, especially a Clear Vue, but economic reality does bite one in one's wallet from time to time. As MBGitW mentioned, if he upstairs took orders, I'd be playing in a 50mx30m shed with 3ph and all the toys, but we make due with what we can.

Is this the end of this project? No stage 2 will be to run pvc pipe thru to the lathe and a drop down hose

Good to see Pat. Having the dusty in the shed is like having part of the exhaust of the car being pumped back in to the cabin - doesn't make sense.
