    Default Flange needed

Does anyone know where I can get suitable flanges for connecting a 4in hose and a 2in hose to a timber cabinet?

    regards,
    Jill

    G'day Jill,

Carba-tec have plastic step down flanges which would be what you are after.

    Individual Reducer Sizes : CARBA-TEC

    Large Stepped Reducer : CARBA-TEC
I make things, I just take a long time.

Thanks for this, Waldo, but these connectors are not quite what I wanted. I was looking for flanges that can be bolted over a hole in the cabinet, and the hose then connected to it.

    regards,
    Jill

Plumbing suppliers, like Reece and tradelink are your friend for items like that.

Thanks Enfied guy. I was born and raised in Enfield , Sydney, for my first 23 years. I suppose your moniker refers to the Enfield rifle

I went to Tradelink today and then has a plastic flange 160mm diameter and about 20mm high to take a 4in PVC pipe for $5, and which has exactly the internal dimension to fit the Tradelink 4in hose - clay pipe adapter that I have on the end of all my 4in dust collection hoses.

    regards,
    Jill

My pleasure Jill. Actually the reference is to Royal Enfield, the motorcycle. I think though that there was a connection to the rifle manufacturing, but I could be mistaken on that one.
    Cheers
