    Default Flexible 150mm hose

I have some very nice flexible 150mm hose for sale if anyone is interested. I brought it in from the US to see what it is like and will be getting more. This stuff is nice but I only have a few metres of it as the rest has been sold. PM me if you are interested. Next time I am going to get some of the fancy clamps as well.

Blast gates are here as well, again PM me or email please.

Pete, 125mm is not a size I have been asked for but if you want to order it I can help you. It comes in 3 or 6 meter lengths and I would have to work out a price. It is not a size I would normally keep in stock. I am going to stock 100/150mm from early next year.

    Carbatec has 5" for $25 a m.

Chris, how does your 150 mm compare price and quality wise to the carbatec stuff ($30/m)

Bob, $24/metre for the 150mm. I was never happy with any of the stuff I saw available locally so decided to bring some in and have a look and see what it was like. The flexibility in this stuff is excellent and with a thick wall at the same time, I want to try and get some of the latest Polyurethane as apparently you can tie it in knots the flexibility is that good and I have made some inquiries to try and get some but the Yank suppliers (not CV) don't appear to be that interested which I find strange.

I am also going to try and get CV to make 150mm adapter ports that can be utilised to connect to machines where it only has a 100mm. Granted that means cutting a new hole in the machine cabinet but the benefit is excellent extraction and if the original port is used for make up air the whole thing works a lot better. Gaps around the cabinet will usually supply the difference between the two as a rule. Having said that my Jet bandsaw is a classic case of close the cabinet door and there is no way that enough make up air can enter the cabinet so the extraction is poor unless the door is left ajar or I cut a hole in it.
