    Default Flower Pot Cyclone

Inspired by the idea of using a flower pot for a cyclone I knocked this one together with 50cm pot on a 118 lt bin,100mm duct and 12mm ply doubled up.
I was surprised by how well it works.

    Cheers
    Brian

I also love these adaptive inventions.

Any chance of a test? eg a bucket of material, clean cyclone and bag, suck it through and see how much makes it to the bag - perhaps not all that scientific but certainly visual.

    Regards,
    Bob

    Default Demo

    Here you go Bob,
Took three goes to get it half right, the first video was with the old bag attached
so changed the bag then the video did not show the dust in the bucket.

The dust carried over is about twice as much as what I originally had in the bag, probably because there is not normally that much dust getting sucked up at the same time.
Its not perfect but a lot better than the Carba-Tec dust separator lid I had.

    Cheers
    Brian

Thanks for your time and trouble Brian.

The results look pretty good to me and offers a viable solution to others.

    Thanks again and regards,
    Bob
