What to use to hang PVC pipe?
Hi all
What have you used to hang your PVC pipe?
I'm about to start laying out my ducting and I'm wondering what is easiest/most convenient?
Thanks!

Bunnings or any plumbing supplier or hardware will sell hangers for PVC pipe. I can't link to any in Bunnings due to their poor search engine but I bought some from them a week ago. Other than that look here...

Punched strapping is very easy to use.
For larger heavier pipe where pipe and fittings need to be more closely aligned before joining them, it's useful to be able to readily adjust the height of suspend PVC pipe. If it's a short distance I use short lengths of 6mm all-thread rod and straps and hooks out of galv strap. For longer suspension distances (ie metres) I use 6mm galv steel rod and welded short length of all-thread onto the ends.

For longer height and even for short lengths i've taken to using either M10 or M12 thread rod bought in 3m lengths from bunnings... it's cheaper than M6/M8 actually, 3M length of zinc plated M10 for $5.40

It so cheap i have a few lengths on hand regardless of needing it

Looks like you guys in WA miss out i just tried setting my store to Perth and it's not listed but it is listed in Adelaide and Canberra... haven't checked other states
So assuming your in a state that stocks it, it is $5.40 for M10 and $7.50 for M12 in 3M lengths in zinc plated, Gal is a few $ more
If your looking in your state it's under threaded rod...

When setting up i've used tie down straps like the ones in the link below
Grunt 25mm x 0.5m Pull Tie Down Strap - 2 Pack | Bunnings Warehouse
I've started replacing these with steel cabling from Bunnings similar to below, nots not cheap, particularly when you start buying the crimps etc but gives a tidy look
