Default Help wiring a Fan (pics)

I got a combustion fan that I would like to turn into a air filter. I have a pretty good knowledge of wiring etc, but I have never wired up a low / high / off switch before so need some advice on it.
    Here is the circuit diagram.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Without seeing the internal structure of the switch it is difficult to be precise about any recommendation.

So based on the limited info this is how I would do it.

The white wire on the motor looks like it is some sort of intermediate speed.

I wired up nearly identical to this, but the Red / Brown wire from the plug goes in to the middle of the switch.
I originally mounted the white wire to the fan body as described in another forum / youtube, but this resulted in a static charge so using a multi-meter found that the L on the switch is grounded and has no current running through it at all, based on this im sure it is for a intermittent speed.
    Works great.

Thanks BobL for the help and diagram.
