The use of hose clamps
Hey, yet another question from me. Are the use of hose clamps needed? I have a few hoses that are a bit of a lose fitting, however I usually wrap tape around the port to make it a tighter fit. Is air seeping out and am I better off just buying hose clamps ?

Hi. I recommend the use of hose clamps. I have found with my system that air does tend to leak out if the joint is not tight. Also, I have found that in some instances if there is any movement in the joint then saw dust tends to accumulate under the tape and it eventually loses its bond. In some instances I have gone the next step and actually siliconed the joint. Just my 2c.
