Improving dust extraction for C26 Advice Requested
Hi All, seeking some advice about dust extraction on a Minimax C26 combination. The existing connection, which takes a 100mm hose, reduces it to 63mm and constrains it into a blade shroud, does not work very well. I propose to cut a 150mm hole and connect directly to my DC7 and CDS 2/3 3 HP system. My MinimaxC26 sits on a plywood base with swivel casters.
My questions are: will I need additional holes for air to ingress? and are there any suppliers of 150 mm bell mouths in brisbane?
Thanks in Anticipation. Owen

Yes
Ideally you want the vents in the cabinet as close as possible opposite to the side on which the outlet is located.

You can get them online from https://autoblastgates.com.au/pricing

Thanks Bob for the info, i had not seen that website before. Should i assume that with a 150 hose i need about the same area of vents or more or less? Owen
