    Default AlfaRimini DCs, anyone?

    Hi folks,

I am working on options for my dust system, and ran across this page:

    http://tuckwellmach.com.au/Woodworki...tion_Unit.html

I am waiting to hear back with specs and more pricing info, but thought I would see if anyone here knows about them... Anyone?

They look like they might be slightly different to the usual generic DCs. Seems like they might have unusual (too small?) inlet ports from the photos, but I can't quite make it out. Hopefully they'll come back to me with a bit more info soon...

    Danny

Being of Italian extraction myself I wouldn't believe much of what comes back as specification.
They look pretty similar to the later model Taiwanese machines e.g. WoodFast and CT models where the motor and impeller are separated by just a short flange but otherwise there isn't anything obviously different other than the motors look very small.

i looked at 3 spray booths and a Cabinet makers shop that had extractors were made by this company. this is while I was looking at extractor unit for myself. the one thing I did notice was the fan/blower unit was different in its design, it wasn't a flat blade, it was more a spiral from the centre with a backward curved air foil blade, I was also a inline extractors. cost was high $$$$$$$

That is pretty standard even on budget DCs these days.

I'll see what the pricing comes back like, and report back if it seems like it might be worth investigating further!
