In theory if one was installed in the middle of the shed ceiling it could be swung over and used to service a number of machines thus saving on ducting and junction costs. I did think about installing one in my shed but I'd rather spend the money and have as many bits of gear already plumbed in as possible rate than disconnecting and connecting all the time.
Another appropriate use would be with a BMH on the end positioned above benches or placed near power tools as a fine dust pickup/scavenger.
I will see how the paint bucket lid holds up once the dust starts flowing, it’s what I had available.

Let's see what we can do.....
Well finally some light at the end of the tunnel, all completed bar a BMH still to make for the sander. I now have to improve lighting above all the machines as the duct work has inhibited my main light. LED's will be the order of the day. Still a bit of tidying up to do but happy with the outcome.
