Default Mitre Compound Saw Dust Extraction

Realising that SMCS dust extraction is problematic I'm considering running two 100mm hoses either side of the blade behind the fence. The two 100mm hoses will split off a 150mm main PVC line, the two 100mm hoses will be short flexi lengths. The flexi will allow me to move the hoses as needed, for example to accommodate 45deg cuts I'll need to move the flexi on one side out of the way.

    Thoughts?

to maximise the flow in the 150 mm duct (and this maximise fine dust collection) 3 100mm hoses should be used.
You could leave one directly behind and have one either side as you describe.
