Default Portable dust extract -how long will it take to fill one before having to emptying it

Hi, I am thinking of buying a dust extractor for when doing fix outs. I am currently doing spec homes of around 150 to 200 sqm. I am using mdf material cutting mostly skirting and architraves. i am just wondering how long it will take to fill the dust extractor before it needs to be emptied again. I am looking at the Makita dust extractors the 19 litre model which seems to be new and the 27 litre model. Thanks

gday I went down the festool track and bought the ct22 due to lower noise level and high dust removal went through 3 bags in one job which was a 4mx5mx3m studio build and fit out cutting 32mm mdf,42mm kdhw, 50mm straw panel, and gyprock 10 and 13mm plus assorted mdf trim then I bought a oneida dust deputy to fit between what ever tool using and the vac and havent bought a bag since

a builder i know in Mackay uses a 206 wheely bin as a seperator betwween the tool and the extractor, two uses for this the bottom half is for the dust and the top is for the extractor and hoses when being moved from sites. the extractor stays outside reduceing the noise. easer to empty the bin and has more volume and easer to move when it all self contained. the seperator is lid is like this

I vote for the festool vac with Oneida dust deputy as well. The Oneida cyclone picks up just about everything including very fine dust. You simply empty the bucket when full and I doubt you will need to change bags at all while it is connected. The hepa filter in the festool vac means that all you have being returned to the room from the dust extraction system is clean air.
