Replacement Filter Bags
Hi, I’ve bought a second hand 3HP dual bag dust extractor that needs the filter bags replaced as they’ve rotted in places. I paid $100 and apparently it was only used for about 8 hours several years ago. It’s a stop gap measure until I get around to building a ducted cyclone. It is an unbranded unit that looks pretty similar to this one or this and is probably a FM300S-1.
I’ve contacted Tools4tradies but as yet no reply. I’ve seen that H&F sells filter bags for its DC-3, DC-60, DC-80 and DC-90 machines and I wondered whether maybe any of these would fit my machine. I would really appreciate it if someone who has a H&F dust collector mentioned above could please measure the diameter of the machine’s cowling where the bag fits over to see whether they would suit my machine that measures 495mm in diameter.
Any other bag replacement options would also be good to hear about.
Thanks in advance. The first step towards knowledge is to know that we are ignorant.

Bag sizes?
I was chasing a bag for an old H&F 3/4 hp mini dusty I scored.
No one seems to sell anything that small anymore.
I didn't find much info on the H&F site but the Carb a Tec site has sizes.
Go to their dusty part and look up a machine, they have the manuals/instructions there.
In the spec they have the dia and height of the bags.
Good luck.

filter bag
Hello
Contact Roy at Get Woodworking 03 93991963.
He got me a replacement bags made - very good quality.
Don't remember the price, but it was well below $100 each.
They're very thick - catch 1 micron dust.
