    And just for total clarity, the isolator switch will be controlling the existing 10A GPO that the DC is already connected to.

    Like this:
    1. NVR switch on the dusty is mechanically manipulated (probably with cable ties) to be always in 'on' position
    2. The standard 3-Pin plug is connected to 10A GPO, and switched to 'on' position
    3. I use the isolator switch to operate the dusty.

    It would be safer to replace the DC Switch with the isolator and locate the NVR switch to a position where you operate the DC.
    That way if the power fails the DC cannot restart while your hand inside the impeller trying to clear a blockage.

    If you have a rudimentary understanding and appreciation of mains AC, you should be able to do it yourself. There is even a wiring diagram in the product photos. Note that it doesn't show the ground wire though, so have added it in here.

    Having said that, you're working with mains voltage, so you need to be 100% confident that your work is correct. If you can't be, find someone who will.

    Here's a description to the housing method I have found works well.
