Safety notice to all clearvue owners
An old customer of mine rang me yesterday because a block of wood had impacted the impeller and smashed through the side of the fan housing.
He had seen some light debris trapped in the cone and took the collection bin off to free it through the outlet. He then started up the system and unseen to him a block wood was somewhere in the inlet tract and it was sucked into the impeller housing. This happened because the bin was not in place and air is drawn up through the cyclone and the block was carried into the impeller housing. If the cyclone has been run in service with ducting attached at no time run it without the bin. Lesson learned the hard way and luckily no one was injured.CHRIS
