Without wanting to hi-jack the thread, can anyone tell me where I might find a good price for 100mm flexible ducting?
Thanks a lot.

I found Pipe Online - Retic Fittings , Plumbing Fittings, Reticulation Supplies supplied Australia wide was cheapest, assuming you need just fittings even with shipping.
They could arrange pipe as well, but I'd have to pick it up in Campbellfield or somewhere remote.
I have just about finished my installation, only taken 18 months.

I haven't contacted them yet but I would expect these guys to be reasonably priced - Ezi-Duct - Flexible Ducting Australia

Thanks folks, I have ordered online from Timbecon. I will be interested to see how long 1 metre is from them, but not holding my breath.

A few years back I was at the other place buying 6m of 6" flex for the mens shed. As he handed it over the salesman said "as it was the end of the roll I've given you about 300mm extra for free", but when I examined the roll the last 250mm was crushed beyond recovery - I though he was "taking the pee" but then I realised he was serious.

The Timbecon 6 mtr lengths arrived and when fully stretched make it to about 6.5 mtrs.

Bunnings was out of stock so I picked up a 6m length of 150 mm stormwater yesterday for about $120 from Reece. Threw in a coupler ‘just in case’. They wanted $45 - for stormwater. Threw it back out... problem is, you never know the price until they take it off the shelf, print out the invoice, punch in the price on the credit card terminal then Ouch!

Reece are a bunch of robbers if you don’t have an account. I find Swan Plumbing cheaper as a walk-in.
Note: I’m talking about the Mornington branches for both companies. I see they are local to you.

I noticed Swann last time I was at Plyco - they are next door and made a mental note to check them out. Then forgot all about it...
Thanks - will try the, next time.

Reece are pirates unless you have an account then they are great. However, to get an account you have to spend $$$$ per month so that’s out for me. Trade Link was reasonable until a new manager came and no more discount for muggins.
So I shopped around and found a small electrical and plumbing suppler a couple of Kms away and they are great. Similar prices to pipesonline which is the cheapest I’ve seen.
Best to call in person on the smaller suppliers and have a chin wag.

Just a note about flexible ducting. I got some from Gasweld when I bought my dust extractor from them & then got some of these https://www.timbecon.com.au/hose-thr...02mm-connector to connect to the ports on my machines. Problem was that those fittings are LH thread & the hose from Gasweld is RH. I also found that the fittings from Timbecon aren't 102mm (4") but only 100mm.
