Sourcing 1phase 3HP blower with large fan?
I know this question has been asked many times before by people trying to build a Bill Pentz design cyclone in Australia- just spent hours browsing the forums.
Where can I buy a single phase, 3HP blower with a 14 to 15 inch fan for use in building a cyclone dust extractor?
Best answer seems to be just to buy a cheap bag filter dust extractor and use it for parts. I've had a look around at these DE's and it seems they all have small 12-13" fans - even on the 3HP models. All that I have read indicates that an (appropriately designed) 14-15" fan is most suitable for a 3HP motor especially given the lower RPM of motors running off the Australian 50hz electricity supply.
So best option I have found is the Jet DC1900 which has a 14" fan. This is quite an expensive unit however ($1200+ RRP). Has anyone had any luck recently finding another option or a way of sourcing just the blower unit alone at a cheaper price?

Oddy, if you come across a source, please let us know. Like you I have been looking around with no luck, the fans size is always small.
